Dear Journal~

A very pregnant Cindi Louise Dawson (Phelps) here writing from Grand Central Station (via her bed) ... hope this finds you well ... as for me, I feel (and look) like a beached whale!

I've been on bedrest this past month; have to remain here until it's time to have Cymberli Dianne, our daughter; she is due in a few weeks.  To tell you the truth, I can't wait!!  Developed some complications (preeclampsia, swollen ankles and legs, shortness of breath) and so I have to lay low.  It's really been fun ... NOT!!

Thank God Weston (Hubby-Dear)  has been an angel throughout all this.  He's taken time off from his job, so he could be here with me, and Mother (his mother) has been here, taking care of the boys (Braxton and Blaze, who are no longer so little: they are 4 and 3 years old now).

Braxton and Blaze both know they are having a sister; they act like it doesn't bother them, but I know better.  I see the injured look in their eyes as they look at my gargantuan belly and know that they will no longer rule the roost.  When Cymberli arrives, it will be the Cymberli Channel:  Baby News And Views, 24 Hours A Day!!

Braxton and Blaze have grown into beautiful little boys: both are incredibly bright and already know some of their letters and numbers (and Braxton is learning to write and read).  I am sure one (or both) will be placed into TAG classes once they start school (Braxton in the fall and Blaze, next year).

So far, my pregnancy has been uneventful, but then I developed these darn complications, so I have to rest.  It's a pain because I have always been a very active woman.  I don't like just lying here in bed with nothing to do!!  I am so sick of Facebook, YouTube, and MySpace I could just spit nails!!  I'm also sick of Cubis 2, Bookworm, and Mahjongg!!

I want to take care of my boys!! I miss holding and cuddling with Brax and Blaze; I miss helping them with their baths, cooking them their meals, and reading to them!!

I hope that Cymberli will decide to make an early appearance; this staying in bed is getting pretty old, and besides, it's not like she's three or four months early!!  She is due around the 15th of next month (March); even if she were small, she would probably weigh well over five or six pounds!  She would be premature, but she wouldn't be THAT premature!!

Well, I have to go: I need help to the restroom.  I will write in here again soon; if not, then Weston will.  Hopefully by then this beached whale will have had her calf!  LOL  Take care and may God bless you always! Say some prayers that the birth and delivery of Cymberli will go without a hitch!  I'd greatly appreciate them!!  Thanks in advance!
