Dear Journal~

Know I should be asleep, but can't sleep tonight.  Too keyed up about things (or maybe God decided it was time for me to get up, so I could spend some time in prayer).  Anyway, it's too freakin' early; I should be asleep!

Gaw!

It's your favorite break dancin' whiz, Gabrielo Bustamente.  I am still breakin' whenever I get the chance, but I also find other things to do, too.  Like church, for example.  Church is a big part of my life.  Later this morning we will be passing out food and prayer for the needy people of our fair city.  I always enjoy doing this; it shows me just how blessed I truly am.  I may not be rich, but compared to a lot of people, I have so much to be grateful for!

I owe it all to the Big Man Upstairs: my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!  :)

Hard to beleive that I have been a Christian for three years now.  And hard to believe that it's been about eight months since I had my knee opeated on.  It was killer to spend six weeks in a walking brace; the itching was so intense I thought I was gonna go MAD!!  It was horrible!!

I'm so glad I had God on  my side during that ordeal!  I don't want to have any more surgery for a while!!  If there is one thing I hate, it's being tied down or not being able to do the things I love: like dancing, for one!  When I dance, I'm in The Zone and dancing is when I'm happiest!

I love showing those stupid naysayers who think I can't do a durn thing 'cause I'm on crutches and can't walk well.  If Lazylegs (Luca Patuelli) can do it, then by gaw, so can I, Gabrielo Edgar Bustamente!!

I even have a dance name: "Bust-A-Move", which also happens to be my nickname.  It's what everybody calls me, which is fine with me!  :)

The weather here is mild, but not too bad.  I hope the cold stuff is out of the way for good: I am more than ready for spring!  It's so hard for me to get around on ice or in snow when I'm on my sticks: big risk of me fallin' and bustin' my azz!  Don't need any broken bones: I already break dance; don't need to add broken bones to my repertoire!  LOL

School is going well: at least I brought up my grades in English and Math.  Math has always been my stickin' point and English, there's just so many darned rules!  It's easier if I just spoke Spanish, but people, they frown on that, so I speak Espanol at home (mi casa) and English when out in public (like at school).  

I speak Spanish and English fluently.  It's what I grew up with.  To me, speaking both is as natural as breathing ... or me dancing!  :)

Well, I'm gonna try to scare up something to eat and then wait for Mami and Papi to get up; they're the ones who will take me to the church, so we can help out.  I love doing these community outreaches every month!  Nothing like showin' the love of Christ on a Saturday morning!  :)
