Dear Journal~
Ronee' Reaux here. Not doing real well, I'm afraid ...
Healthwise, I'm great; it's everything else that's not. And that makes me worried. Very worried.
For starters, my maman is in the hospital. She went in on Wednesday night. She hadn't been feeling good, according to Daddy, and the other night, she had difficulty breathing and was coughing up sputum tinged with blood. She ended up being admitted: Maman has double pneumonia. Both lungs. Maman will probably be in the hospital for at least five days to a week, according to Daddy.
Just talked to him last night and this is what he told me.
THEN, today, I come to find out that Nashville, Tennessee, is under a high risk for severe weather. I mean, smack in the MIDDLE of it. There's a good possibility of tornadoes. I am not very happy to hear this. The main threats are large hail, damaging winds, and the chance of violent, long-lasting tornadoes. I am worried 'cause that's where a good chunk of my family lives. I pray and hope that they remain safe and know to get to the saferoom that we had built into our house, so they can escape the danger that is starting to loom!
I'm just glad I'M not there. I would sprout feathers upon my feathers and turn into a bona-fide CHICKEN!! I know how I am during severe weather: I am a total basketcase!!
Maybe it's a good thing I moved to Louisiana when I did (Michael, too)! :/
Well, I'm gonna stay on Facebook and on the NOAA weather page and keep abreast of this potentionally developing dangerous weather situation in Nashville, Tennessee and other areas within close proximity. Jut keep those in the storm's path in your thoughts and prayers; pray that they stay weather aware and know what to do when things get hairy ... I have to know, especially since my Maman is stuck in the hospital and can't exactly get out quickly ... I am very scared ...
