Hope this finds you all well.  We are doing great, especially since our little Miracle is here!  Morgana Xu Li Faith has made it to Ameica safe and sound from China; she is the sweetest little thing!  We couldn't be happier than we are at the present time!

Morgana is three but looks more like one and a half.  She is incredibly tiny.  She is the cutest little girl with her black hair, huge, obsidian, almond-shaped eyes, dimples, and tiny snub nose.  She is absolutely adorable!

Bryson and msyelf are thrilled to be parents at last.  It doesn't bother us that Morgana is disabled (spina bifida): we will do everything possible to help our brand new daughter reach her full potential.  Right now Morgana doesn't walk, but we are praying that one day she will take those first steps on her own (or with a walker or even crutches).

The cards, calls, letters, and other "unexpected blessings"  have been coming fast and furious ever since Morgana came a week ago; the momentum hasn't let up.  Just today a lady friend from our church at Marion Presbyterian brought us all a full course dinner: meat loaf, scalloped potatoes, green beans with bacon, and for dessert, brownies, and even dinner rolls on the side!  Wasn't that just wonderful of Ginger Carrington to do that for us!  Ginger is such a sweet lady; she's taken a shine to us ever since we started going to church there!

Morgana went to church for the first time today; she screeched when people descended upon her, but I managed to calm her by taking her outside and talking to her in soothing tones.  I told her it was just that people were happy to see her and that all was okay; nobody was going to hurt her.

We don't know what the future holds in store for Morgana, but as I said, we will do all we can to help her achieve any (and all) future goals.  We are going to enjoy being parents: Morgana is a sweet and loving little girl (if somewhat on the shy side), and we are at long last, a complete family!  It has been nothing short of answered prayers just when we needed it the most!
