My name is Desmond Hollywood Jukes.  I am eight years old.  I live with my family in Grafton, Ohio.  I have a mom, a dad, and two sisters (both younger); their names are Neaveh Grace (6) and Julianna Michole (4).

I also have a dog, a Malti-Poo named Chuckles.  She is black and has a white chin.  She is very cute and very friendly.  I just love her to pieces!

I like to do many things.  Some of my favorite activities include playing on the computer, writing stories, reading books (Beverly Cleary is my favorite; I just love the Henry Huggins books and the two books about the Mouse On The Motorcycle!), play basketball and baseball (also football), swim, and ride my bike, as well as hang out with my friends.

I don't know why I got such a weird name, but I did, so there's not really nothing I can do about it 'less I decide to get it changed.  Right now, it's okay.  I especially like the Hollywood part; it makes me feel like a movie star!  :)  That is another thing I like to do: act and sing.  In addition, I dance, too.  I have always been a very creative person, according to my parents.

I am in the third grade, but will be in fourth come this fall (September).  I can't wait for summer vacation: Daddy and Mommy promised us that they were giong to take us kids to DisneyWorld for my ninth birthday, which is on July 16!  I have always wanted to go, but never did, and now I get to!  This is going to be so freakin' AWESOME!!!!!  I canNOT wait!!!!

Well, I'm gonna go now; it's about time to have lunch.  Today we're having Spaghetti-O's and baked beans, and for dessert, some of Mommy's famous home-made apple pie!  Yum!!  I can smell it cooking now; it's making me hungry!!  Take care; I will write in here again soon!  Bye and God bless!
