Denver, Colorado, March 2012~

Howdy, all you lucky people!  It's me, Sage, writing!  Hope this finds y'all well and/or reasonably happy!

Life is good.  Today starts Easter break; that means no school for a week!  That means I can sleep in and enjoy myself.  So what am I doing up before seven in the morning?  Don't ask me; I just woke up and wanted to write in my journal, so there you go.  LOL

Aunt Reba has been trying to get a hold of her MS, but sometimes it's hard, especially if it's kicking her in the tail.  The past few days she's had to resort to using her crutches because her legs keep trying to give out on her.  I'd rather she use the wheelchair, but she hates it: she'd much rather use her crutches.

Uncle Fenton has been doing well since his heart attack last year: he's since gotten used to eating a low salt-low cholesterol diet, and he's made sure we eat healthy too (though when I'm out with my friends, I eat what they do!).  It's a pain; so whenever I am out with friends, I definitely relish those Cokes, French fries, and cheeseburgers!  :)

I still hear from my Aussie pal.  She may be coming here to the States 'round September for a week or two.  I hope so; I really miss her and I enjoy writing and/or texting her!  I still remember my trip to Australia last year in July (God, has it nearly been one year already??  Wow, time sure flies!!); I would love to go back there one day!

Just don't ask me to try Vegemite again!  That shit's NASTY!!!  LOL

The weather here in Denver has been lovely.  Supposed to be sunny all week with highs in the very low seventies.  Just perfect!  I am so ready for spring!!!!  I love wearing my shorts and flip flops and not having to worry about dragging out the winter wear!!

I am also ready to fling the windows open and get out in that sunshine or hit the pool!!

Tonight we may see auroras out.  I hope so; I love it when the aurora borealis comes to town!  It isn't very often when they happen, but when they do come, just about all of Colorado is abuzz about the strange multi-colored polar light show dancing in our nighttime skies!

Church is going great: we are working on getting our Easter Cantata just the way we want it.  I am singing a solo this year: I'm singing "He's Alive!", one of my all time favorite gospel songs EVER!!  I am doing it in the style of Dolly Parton: I LOVE the way she sings it!!  It's hard NOT to get excited whenever I hear it!!

Well, I hate to run, but my pillow and bed are calling me.  That sounds like a wonderful idea!  I don't plan on getting back up until noon or later!  I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Sage McDermott saying I'm outta here!  God bless and talk to you again!
