Skiatook, Oklahoma, March 26, 2012, 3:22 p.m., D.S.T.~

Thought an update is in due order .... here goes ....

Since I last wrote (two years ago!), our lives have only gotten busier, if you can believe it, but it has.  We have two more children, two more sons, named Thibodeaux Paul and Scout Damon, who are two years and eight months old respectively.  They were adopted from China: Scout came in December and Thibodeaux came last  year.  They keep us hopping.

We now have five children: four boys (Scout, Thibodeaux, Damon, and Almonzo) and one girl (Pearl Xie).  Pearl Xie is the oldest; she will soon be seven years old in just a few days.

I love each and every one of them, but at times I wish I was a twin: I could use another "me" around the house when Fred (husband) isn't here! LOL

Our lives have gotten so busy with the new boys we don't even have time to think about the fire and what we had lost.  That's okay: I'd rather not remember anyway!  I feel incredibly blessed to have such a caring husband in Fred and five healthy children, as well as a caring church family and a wide circle of friends!

Well, I hate to cut this short, but Thibodeaux and Scout have awakened from their naps; I hear Thib crying in the boy's' bedroom, so I'd best tend to him and his brother.  I will write in here again soon; sorry it's been such a long time!  Hope you understand; with five kids under eight years of age, there's no such THING as "free time"!  Take care and may God bless you as much as He's blessed us these past few years!
