Hey, y'all.  Thought I'd write in here to let y'all know what's shakin'. Here goes ...

I have been waiting for the end of school and now it's nearly here.  Friday is our last day.  I can't wait; I'm tired of the other kids givin' me a hard time just 'cause I happen to be homeless.  I'm sorry; I didn't ask to be this way; it just happened 'cause Moms, she didn't want to wait two years to find a place to live, so she opted to take the easy way out: live on the streets.

Kids still actin' the fool, givin' me a hard time, and frankly, I'm ready to bash their shitty faces in.  How would they like it if they ended up like I did? They very well could, y'know ... I did; so can anybody else.

Yesterday was Mom's Day, and I couldn't even give her a frickin' card.  I did give her a hug and tell her I loved her, but I could tell she was sad.  Well, who wouldn't be?  All Moms wants is a home for us; is that too much to ask for??  People look at us like we're trash and more often than not, they walk right on by, as though we dno't even exist.  It totally sucks!!

I wanted to go to church, but I was afraid we'd be driven out, 'cause we don't have any nice clothes to wear.  So we didn't go to church.  We just sat here in this stupid shelter, feelin' sorr for ourselves, which is what we do just about every day.

I wouldn't wish this kind of life on anybody!

Well, I gotta go.  Time for lunch.  Hopefully it's not more of the same garbage!  I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Xena Gibbons saying bye!
