I don't know who I am or what I am doing here.

People tell me that I was abducted by space creatures, but I don't really know.  It's as if my memory has been erased.  People and places I once knew have become foreign to me.  I feel as if I'm the only person on the planet ...

People have been taking me to different doctors to see if they can make sense out of what happened, but my life remains a mystery.  I don't know what state I am in, let alone what city, what I do, even my own name. 

I wonder if it's something to do with whatever happened to me.  I feel as if I am living in a murky abyss, walking in a thick fog, with no way out ....

I don't even know if I am married or singie or have a family.  There are people who claim to be my family, but I swear I have never seen 'em before in my life.  I have been staying on a street corner, too terrified to move or do anything, in case I should be found out.

Don't even watch the tv or the news: it's as if I've been erased from all contact with the world.  I'm happiest in my area; that way nobody can bother me or ask me questions.  I don't know a soul, but certain people say they know exactly who I am and what has happened to me. 

I still say it is all rubbish. 

I don't know what is going to happen to me, but one thing is certain:  if I don't find out who I am or what the hell I am doing here, or who everybody else is, or what has happened to me, I just might go mad ....
