Dear Journal~

Howdy from Music City U.S.A.!!

This is your Louisiana friend, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux!  Hope this finds y'all well and happy!  I'm doing great!  I am in Nashville, Tennessee, where Michael and I are attending Fan Fair!  We got in last night and we are tired, but we are ready for some country music fun!!

We plan on seeing several shows the next few days and hanging out with the stars.  This is Michael's first time in attending a Fan Fair; I've been coming to Fan Fair since I was a little kid!  I always enjoy seeing my country music pals again; it's almost like a family reunion!

We've been here maybe a half hour and already I have seen several of my friends: Jimmy C. Newman (AAIIEE!!), Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, and others; even saw some Hollywood stars here: Chuck Norris, Zooey (oh, I can't remember what her last name is, but it starts with a D; she will be playing Loretta Lynn on the Broadway strip), and George Clooney (HELLO!)!  So already I have snagged some good autographs and got to have  my pic taken with 'em!

Michael doesn't know what to make of all this craziness.  He looks rather uncomfortable; I keep telling him to loosen up and have fun!  I'm gonna have to teach him some Fan Fair etiquette!  LOL

I am sure hoping I see some of my family here!  Maman said she wasn't going to Fan Fair this yaar, but somehow, I feel that she and the family will be here.  They always are.  I am looking really hard to see some familiar familial faces! LOL

The weather here in Nashville is stunning: bright, wall-to-wall sunshine with temps expected to be in the 70's to mid 80's for highs.  Couldn't ask for better weather for Fan Fair!

We had a good drive up from Lafayette, Louisiana; as I said earlier, we got in around 9:00 last night; still a bit tired, but that will disappear once the concerts and autograph sessions start!  Then we'll be wired!!  :)  I know I will be, anyway; already am!  Seeing my friends (and meeting some of Hollywood's finest) has already got my blood racing! :)  I am more than ready for more excitement and fun!!

Because there's so much walking involved here, I am using my wheelchair, but I do have my crutches with me.  Michael is pushing me around, taking in all the sights and enjoying it with me, but as I said before, he's got to loosen up somewhat!  He looks rather wound up! 

Well, the first of the concerts is due to start in a half hour, so I will go.  I will write in here again, if not from Fan Fair, but from when we go back to Louisiana!  Until later, this is Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux saying so long; take care and God bless!
