I am seriously thinking of selling my toys, particularly my toy soldiers.  I don't need them anymore.  

I can't look at them: they remind me too much of Prince, who was killed just a few months back in Afghanistan.  He was trying to fight for us, the good guys, but the bad guys planted a bomb in the ground, and as he and some friends were driving, they drove over the bomb, and it went off.  My brother and his buddies were killed.  My brother was only 22.

As you can imagine, Mama, Daddy, Liliana (big sister; she's 19), Portia (little sister; she's 6), and LaKindra (little sister; she's 4) are devastated.  I think I'm more so; Prince and I (I'm 13) were the best of friends: we were extremely tight.  Always had been extremely close.

Little brother Quenton (3) would be sad too, but he is handicapped.  He doesn't know much: he was born with severe disabilities and he lives in a place for children with severe disabilities.  Mama and Daddy wanted to keep him home, with us, but it got to be too hard, so they decided to put him in a home for children like him where others could care for him.  He took up way too much of Mama and Daddy's time, and we kids were jealous (me, not so much, but the others were).

Anywho, I can no longer play with my toy soldiers.  To play war would be too painful because playing war or fighting games only remind me of Prince, and I can't deal with the memories right now.  So I am gonna get rid of them.  I think instead of selling them, I just might as well throw 'em in the trash.  What good would they be, anyway??  Besides, Quenton isn't here with us and he couldn't really play with 'em, even if he WAS here with us.

I don't know why there are wars, but I wish all the fighting, shooting, and violence would just STOP!! I am sick of hearing yet another soldier dying at the hands of the stupid enemy and I am sick of our soldiers getting blamed for things while the enemy is using their own people as human shields, strapping bombs to 'em, and killing innocent people all the time!  When is all this madness and senseless killing going to STOP???  WHEN????

I hate war, and I hate the enemy even MORE!  I wish they'd turn that area into a sea of glass and get our boys and girls out of there and get them HOME where they belong!! I just wish Prince could have survived; but no, thanks to the stupid enemy, he's DEAD!!! DEAD!!! DEAD!!!!!!!
