Nashville, Tennessee, September 24th, 2012, 10:22 p.m., D.S.T.~

Dear Journal~

Hello!  Michael A. Stinkowitz here.  Still trying to get over the jet lag; still feel as if we are on Israel time.  LOL

Israel was everything we thought it would be.  The good Lord protected us from harm and we did not have any problems excepting for when Ronee' dropped her camera into the Sea of Galilee.  LOL Oh, how she CRIED!!  I really felt bad for her, but told her that it was just an accident, which it was.  I got her a new camera and told her I had my pictures.  That seemed to make her feel a little better, but I still felt horrible that she dropped her camera.

Now her camera is somewhere in the Sea of Galilee.  LOL

It really felt awesome walking on the same ground where the denizens of the Bible walked; we saw the tomb where Jesus was buried, the Garden of Gethsemene, the cities of Jerusalem and Bethlehem, and so much more.  The weather was really pretty, rather warm but sunny, but not too bad.  We got back yesterday afternoon and we are back in Tennessee, staying with Ronee' 's folks until the morning, when we will then head back to Louisiana.

The wedding went quite well: nobody got sick or fainted, and Ronee' made a stunning bride.  When I first laid eyes on her in her wedding dress and veil, I cried.  She did the same when she saw me in my tux.  After the wedding, we had the reception and everybody had a really good time.  We had a Cajun band as the entertainment and everybody had fun dancing and interacting with each other.  It was nice seeing Ronee' 's family all together ... all 2,000 of 'em! LOLOLOL

The weather here is nice: sunny and cool, with temps in the 70's, really delightful weather.  The leaves are just starting to turn; in a few weeks the trees will be ablaze with color.  In Louisiana it will no doubt be hot and humid; that is the norm until at least October or November, which is when we will finally start having a cool down.  Ronee' doesn't mind it, but boy, I sure do!  I have never handled heat all that well ...

When we get back to Louisiana, we will probably rest a few days, then get back to our daily grind of work and classes.  I miss my friends and I know Ronee' misses hers.  She also misses her co-workers and her boss.  Ronee'  has a really nice boss at the campus.

Well, I hate to run, but it's late, and Ronee' 's sitting on the couch, her head leaning on her arm; she is fast asleep and snoring softly.  Her kitty, "Cajun", is laying right on her leg, sleeping as well.  They really do look adorable!  Time to put my wife to bed and go to bed myself.  We're both exhausted!  I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Michael Stinkowitz saying so long and Yeshua bless!
