Big green eyes the color of emeralds.  Thick, wavy red hair and a smattering of freckles upon his nose and cheeks.  Only five years old and our youngest child.  Yes, that is Austin Delaney.  He is our world; we would do anything for him.  We love him that much.

Austin also happens to have special needs.  He was born with brain damage that left him with cerebral palsy.  Right now he is unable to walk, but doctors and his therapists are hopeful that he might do so one day.  We hold onto that hope and believe with all our hearts that this will happen.

Austin is such a happy little boy: he is usually always laughing or smiling and somehow he brings out the best in people.  People are always drawn to him and he loves the attention.

Austin goes to therapy twice a week and goes to a school for children with disabilities.  He has many friends there and looks forward to seeing them every day.

Austin loves to do many things: be read to, cuddled, held, hugged, kissed, listen to music, watch television (he loves Dr. Seuss the most), sing, and play with his big sisters Edith and Emma, who are seven and ten.  He loves to go to church every week and learn about Jesus.

We don't know what the future will hold for our son, but one thing is certain: we will do everything humanly possible to ensure that he has a good, happy, and productive life!
