A boy attempts to try to ruin the family Christmas picture, much to his parents' annoyance.

I figure if I try to ruin the Christmas family picture, mom and dad can get annoyed and take us home.  To me, there's nothing more boring than being told to sit and pose for the camera.  If it's not a picture of each of us, the stupid photographer has to make us sit together and pretend that everything is all hunky-dory.

Sorry, folks, it just ain't happening.

I don't get along with my big sisters Cori and Danielle or my little brother Spike (his real name is Scotty, but I call him Spike 'cause he has a Mohawk; it makes him look like a little hedgehog).  I get along well with mom and dad, but I just can't get along with my sisters or little brother.

Oh, I've tried a million times to, but Spike does something to pick me off (like get into my things, or act like a total moron) and my sisters think it is cool that they get to boss me around 'cause they're older (they're 14 and 16); they think they're all that, and it drives me bat-crazy!!

Today we went to get our Christmas picture taken.  As always, Spike acted up, which meant only more insufferable time with the photographer, and then the two sisters began pushing me and punching me in the arm, calling me moron or stupid; I wanted nothing more than to punch their (Christmas) lights out!  Mom and dad got mad, but I didn't care; I was pretty sore myself (in more ways than one!).

Well, we eventually got the pictures taken; afterwards, mom and dad yelled at us right there in the middle of the mall, saying how childish we were acting.  I wasn't really doing anything wrong; it was all Danielle, Cori, and Spike's fault; they were the ones who were acting up, NOT me!!

They took us home and now we have to sit in our rooms and think about how badly we behaved.  I'm plenty mad at mom and dad 'cause even though I didn't do anything, I still got punished!! I tell you life sure isn't fair sometimes!!

Christmas cheer ... NOT! CHEESE!!! Well done, Karen. Guess that's when you say, 'Grin and bear it,' or 'He knows when you've been sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness' sake!' LOL

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
