Hello!

My name is Addie Reese Turek.  I live in Turlock, California, with my mom, step-dad, and two younger brothers, who are eight and three.  I am 15 years old and am in the tenth grade.

I have a good life.  I really can't complain.  My dad divorced my mom when I was a little girl, but other than that, life is quite awesome.  Mom remarried a wonderful man named Stanley and I love him so much; he treats me as if I had been born to him.  My real dad hardly ever calls or writes; I'm lucky if I get a card from him on Christmas or my birthday.

I like to do many things, among them being horseback riding, writing stories or poems, playing dodgeball or softball, hanging out with my best friends, going to church every Sunday (getting ready to go now; our first service is at 9:30), going to concerts, traveling, collecting seashells or rocks, and scrapbooking.

I also like to help out at the camp every August; I volunteer at a camp for children with special needs and they are awesome!  I do this because my littlest brother (Shane, the three-year-old) has cerebral palsy and is one of the most courageous little souls I have ever met or known!  He means so much to me!

When I grow up I want to be a camp director or a teacher to kids with special needs.  Or I want to be a published author and have a book with my name on it.  I think that would be so cool!
