A boy is tired of all the things he has to go through just in order to survive.
I am sick of it!!
Sick of having to take medication because of my stupid epilepsy and sick of having to struggle in school because of my damned learning disabilities and my dyslexia! If I didn't have to go to school, I'd be a whole lot happier!
Thank God Monday starts Thanksgiving break. We're off for a week. Can't wait!! I am more than ready to sleep in and not have to put up with any more guff!!
My name is Trevor. I live in Denver, Colorado, with my family. I am 13 years old. I'm in the seventh grade and am not very popular. I am teased because of my epilepsy (didn't help I've had a few seizures while in class) and my learning difficulties. I wish my parents could homeschool me, but Ma works two jobs and Daddy is disabled and his health won't allow it. He was injured in the war and is often in a lot of pain.
I have my sisters, but Meghan is no fun: she is seventeen but has down syndrome and acts more like a two-year-old than a teenager. She may be my big sister, but she's more like a little sister; she needs constant supervision. And then there's Mellie (Melanie): she's 11 and is bi-polar. You never know what kind of mood she is gonna be in with each passing day; I wish she'd take her medication so she could act halfway human!!
I'm sick of the fighting going on in the world and hearing about Obama winning the election. If I hear one more thing about him, I just may hurl or hurt someone. I have had it up to my eyebrows with him and so have my folks. They can't stand him and neither can I!
If I don't get to enjoy my vacation, I just may go to Alaska. I'd go by myself. Let Ma and Dad deal with the girls. I don't get along with 'em (especially Mellie; Meghan isn't too bad but she needs to be babysat even though she's older and it's like having an overgrown little kid in the house) and I need a break from not only them, but school, let alone, LIFE.
Having suffered with epilepsy for more then 15 years myself before having brain surgery (which corrected the problem 100%), I can appreciate this story. Well done, Karen. God bless.
A poignant story about letting go of a narcissist in your life. Have you ever been attacked FULL force by a narcissist? It's the closest thing to being stabbed over and over in the back.
