I hope I survive. It's been at least 24 to 48 hours since I got separated from my family and right now I'd do anything to find someplace warm. It is colder than a monkey's bare backside out here and I don't see anyplace that even looks familiar to me.

I'd give anything to see their beautiful faces .... I am missing them like crazy; I wonder if they are missing me as much as I am missing them at the moment ...
I don't know how we got separated, but we did. Now I'm sitting huddled by a handmade fire, wearing just about all my clothes, and still I am freezing. The temperature is not helping: it's only in the 20's and dipping fast. Snow is in the forecast for later this afternoon; I have no time to lose but to try to find somewhere to shelter, or I could very easily freeze to death.
Lord, I am praying for a miracle. If there was any time I needed a miracle, now would be a great time! Time is running out ....
Living where I live, we learn that you have to be careful, that you don't really go out in the woods alone, and you don't get separated from your party. Growing up in the foothills taught me that!!!! Great story I could not begin to imagine!!!
