A mother is forced to relinquish her child. This is her story.

I never thought it would come to this .... because of it, my heart is shattered ...

I had to give up my beautiful baby boy, Mayson Dominic, whom I adopted from China, because of some technical legality.  The adoption agency counselor came last week and took Mayson from my life; he is now reported to be in foster care, living God knows where.

I had Mayson for six months.  Fought for him for about the same time; went through all the processes of adoption, then was informed that he would be mind.  The day I got him was the happiest of my life.  I figured we would have a beautiful future together.  Then this happened; all of a sudden, the child I thought would be mine was ripped from my arms, and I am left reeling in shock and disbelief.

I do't know what happened (or why).  I don't know if someone thought I was an unfit parent or if there were marks on his body, or what.  I didn't do anything to harm my son; I was a loving mother.  I took care of him as best as I could.  I was a good mother!

I went from having a child to having my life torn apart.  I feel as if my child died and I feel as if I died too.

I am griefstricken.

I don't know if I will ever get over this.  Right now I am too upset to even think.  Just keep me (and especially little Mayson) in your prayers; we really could use a major miracle!  Thanks in advance!

~Kym Hastings.

If this is a true story it is one big heart breaker.
I am sure it has happened once too often.
All folks in this type situation need prayer.

Amen
