Burning question What happen to the black american family?

Did we fade away or just stopped caring.

My aunt had a massive heartattack and mild stroke almost three years ago

Has been in a nursing home since, My youngest aunt has been there through it all and yet my mother, and two uncles could pretty much care less. Now my aunt is in the hosiptal because of she's ill again. but the only time my uncle who lives here in the same city comes to see here is when she's in the hospital.

My grandparents raised us to look out for one another but it never happens that way. Everyone is to busy or to full of shit to go check on the other. My aunt has been through hell and me and my youngest aunt have been ther with her and for her since.

But why do I feel that the brothers and sister should do more?

Because that's the way we were brought up, My mother didn't raise me my grandparents did, so when they became ill I went over cleaned the house and made sure they were alright, my mother waited till my grandmother died to than take care of my grandfather.

Now her sister needs her and yet again there is an excuse as to why she cant be there for her.

This makes me so damn mad I want to scare out loud What the Hell is Wrong with you. Your parents raised you to look out for on another not get grown, get so wrapped up in your own lives you forget about your sisters and brothers. or you look down on them because they dont have what you have or make the money you make, so you just stop coming home to visit.

And when you do visit you act like you really dont want to be botheredso what's the damn point.

One again I ask what happened to the black american family it's not all it's just mine!!!!
