Today was a day of miracles. 

I was sitting in the livingroom, wondering how I was going to get the money to pay some outstanding bills, and also how to get groceries.  I was nearly down to nothing: my 'fridge, freezer, and kitchen cupboards resembled Old Mother Hubbard's. 

I was crying, praying, and reading the Bible, when there was a loud knock at the front door.  Getting up, I answered it.  When I opened the door, I was surprised to see three woman standing there; all had bags and other things in their hands.  The one said, "The Lord told us to stop by your place to bring you these things". 

Needless to say, I was beyond stunned.  I did not expect this at all.

The women had at least five to six bags of groceries chock full of stuff.  They also had Christmas gifts for me to give to my ailing husband and teenaged children; then, if that were not enough, the youngest member of the trio handed me an envelope.  Inside were ten $100 bills, for a total of $1,000.  She smiled real big as me as she gave me a huge hug and uttered: "Merry Christmas!"

They then left, waving.  All I could do was stand there in the living room and start crying.  It was beyond my wildest dreams.  Just when things looked their bleakest, God came through in a mighty way, in a way I did not expect.
