A man living in Louisiana misses the snow and cold weather he grew up with until he moved to Louisiana a few years ago.

Now that I live in the South, Christmas just doesn't seem to be the same anymore.
I was born in Chicago, Illinois. I am used to snow on the ground or the air being cold, not temperatures being in the seventies for highs, or having thunderstorms (or the threat of severe weather in the forecast). Our area so happens to be under the gun for the possibility of severe storms, including the possibility of tornadoes.
I live in New Orleans, Louisiana. I have lived here for the past five years. I do not know why I even bothered moving here. The city itself is nasty-dirty, crime is rampant, traffic during rush-hour is a nightmare, the weather is horrible, and a lot of the people here seem to be stuck up or only concerned for themselves.
I didn't think I would end up missing the snow or cold, but the truth is, I do. I really, really do.
I know God can do the impossible, but I somehow doubt that we will ever have a White Christmas here in New Orleans.
If there is one thing I want this Christmas, it is to see a White Christmas, just like the ones I used to know, as the words to that famous song says. Is that too much to ask??
