Daniel Carter is my name.  I am 12 years old and live with my family in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.  I'm in the sixth grade.

I have a mom and step dad (my real dad died in a hunting accident when I was two, so I really never knew him excepting in videos or in photographs); I also have two brothers (Shayne and Colton) and three sisters (Hayleigh, Casey, and Aurora); I'm the second oldest kid in my family.

Most people call me "Drizzle".  Don't know why, but that's my nickname.  Don't mind it though; I've gotten used to it by now.

We start back to school next week; am going to really milk this week for what it's worth.  We've been off the last two weeks, have one more week to go.  I had a nice Christmas; got a lot of neat things, and for New Years, we went to Providence for their New Year's celebration.  We saw fireworks last night and everything; they were really cool!  Also saw fireworks the week before Christmas while at Pawtucket's annual Christmas Parade of Lights; that happened after the parade was done.

When I grow up I want to be either a basketball player or a Marine.  I'd love to join the military and fight for my country!

Well, I hate to run, but it's about time for bed; tomorrow we're going to be busy taking down the Christmas decorations and the tree; it will take a good part of the day.  I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Drizzle Carter saying so long; I'm outta here!  Happy New Year!
