I also have cancer. Osteoscarcoma, or bone cancer.
It all started innocently enough. Just a minor pain in my shin and knee; thought it was nothing more than growing pains. Then the pain got worse and I had to see the doctor, 'cause I was losing sleep over it.
The doctor became concerned, so he sent me to a specialist. After having an MRI done on my leg, it was discovered that I had a tumor in my leg, so I had to have a biopsy done. That was scary enough, but nothing like when I found out I had bone cancer.
I have been going through chemotherapy ever since. It's made me violently sick and I have missed a lot of school because of it, so I have to have a tutor come, so I don't fall behind on my schoolwork.
There's a chance that I could lose my leg. I pray and hope not, but if that is to be the case, then I shall deal with it as events happen. So that's where I am at right now. Just say some prayers for me; I could really use a miracle! Thanks in advance!
I will write more when I feel up to it. You haven't heard the last of my story!
