I'm about as beautiful as they come. I mean, look at me.
I'm the prettiest cat this side of the Mississippi River: long, lithe, sleek, with short, healthy, shiny black fur (not one ounce of white on me), tall, erect ears, gorgeous emerald-green eyes, and slender legs ending in four perfect paws.
Let's face it: when it comes to felines, I'm a regular diva!
My name is Cleopatra. I'm an American Shorthair. I'm one of the most common breeds of cats (that is, if you don't count the tabbycat).
I am four years old. I live with my Humans in New York City. I'm an indoor cat, which is good because there's just too many dangers out there for me: sickness, dogs, humans, and other hazards, the elements (weather), cars, noise, pollution: let's face it ... city life is not for the weak or faint-of-heart!!
It's also very cold outside. I would freeze my little paws right off! I'm better off being inside, lying on the bed, by the fireplace in the den, or spending my days sleeping while at night I play, look around, and enjoy the sounds of my humans sleeping. I also eat and drink my water and of course, poop and pee (but you didn't really need to know that, did you?? :) ).
Let's face it: when it comes to life, this cat has the purrfect one!!
