Is Earth the only planet that has life? It's a billion dollar question that has many experts scrambling for answers. The question is, are we searching correctly?
As a kid I believed that there was life on other planets in our solar system . Some folks still do and hope that life may have existed on Mars but so far, no cigar. However, some experts say that it’s mathematically impossible for earth to be the sole supporter of life in this trillion planet universe.
So what is the Domino Theory? I believe God placed everything in the universe to serve a purpose. When you study the plants and animals on Earth it's easy to believe in that theory. However, when we go outside this busy world of ours we see an entirely different thing. That is precisely why we are so limited. We are looking or hope to be hearing something from outer space within our limited senses. That's unrealistic!
There are many scientific studies that suggest more dimensions exist. So who are we to think we can find life in outer space with our limited capabilities? What we possess is fine for exploring life on Earth but that's about it. Even as a child I knew that there were more than 5 senses. How many are there? Who knows? We know of many people who have had encounters with things that they could not see but in their dreams they recalled a vision. Even the Bible does not mock dreams! In fact Angels and demons show up in dreams in many a prophet. These dreams are to be taken seriously as even an angel appeared in Mary's dreams that told her about the coming of Jesus. So are we in a different dimension in our dreams? Who knows? It appears to be that way. We know that we are in an entirely different state of mind. But we can go places in our dreams that we can't seem to travel to when we are awake. Could it be that we could travel in another time or to another dimension where other senses exist and where we can expand our limits? The possibilities are endless. Then again, so is our universe.
I believe there is life on other planets in the Universe. Why not? I have had 3 UFO sightings during my life and I know what I saw! I wasn't delusional. It's a good thinking write, John! ...M
This is so interesting. Since a child, I've wondered the same things, and intend to study it more soon. There is no end, ever, that's what is so fascinating. Someday I'll be excited to completely understand.
It’s impossible that we are alone. With a little over 400 billion stars in our galaxy alone, ( by the Drake formula that gives us 26,000 societies equal or greater than ours) and with well over 8,500 galaxies we are aware of, it seems to be way too much trouble and window dressing for God to go to for our benefit. It’s hypnotized there are 16 dimensions and if so our thinking we are alone is WAY TOO narrow a thought. God must surely be laughing himself silly.
The symbiotic pattern of evolution is everywhere and allows us a very different and fascinating window into the way symbiotic viruses work, since all viruses are symbiotic, including those involved in our human reproduction.
