Troy returned home to heaven where he was fitted with his “Angel Wings – Mark: 12 Verses 18-27” ten years ago today! God has allowed him to continually assist his family and friends here on earth.
April 19, 2012 found me fighting a battle that had been going on the better part of six months. I’d been to the doctor, finished off two bottles of antibiotics and three bottles of prescription cough syrup. Still, my chest was raw inside and showed no chance of clearing. My stubborn hacking cough remained as well. In desperation I had made the sign of the cross on my chest and asked God for a healing approximately two weeks earlier.
We were sitting at the kitchen table getting ready to have breakfast that miraculous April morning. I had my usual handful of vitamins and herbs sitting on the napkin to the right of my plate; my hands were resting on my knees. All of a sudden I felt the lightest touch on the ends of my hair. The sensation continued to travel down my wrist and into my left hand. Looking down, I was amazed to see one of my vitamins resting in the palm of my left hand. I knew Troy was with us and Tanar’s (Troy’s dog) unusual energetic frolicking in the hallway confirmed it.
I swallowed the vitamin he had so gently placed in the palm of my hand along with the other’s that were still laying on the napkin. That day my cough disappeared and my chest cleared up completely. I haven’t had a problem since.
It continues to amaze and please me that God has allowed Troy to be with us here on earth. For anyone who doesn’t believe in Angels – read the bible! It is proof that we will all be allowed to “live like the angels in heaven” if we make it to heaven after our departure from this world. Since we are allowed to live like the angels it only makes since that we are able to come back and assist the ones left on earth. I thank God every day for His love and His angels; especially my special angel Troy…Happy 10th Anniversary in Heaven Son…I love you, Mom
