Ok it's that time of year again. In the very near future I will be walking to the podium to collect my Oscar for Best Actress. Meanwhile I'll be looking to see that dignified seasoned French actress Emmanuelle Riva win the award tonight.
Yes we're talking Oscars now. Let me introduce my panel of esteemed colleagues just like the people we had last year with two noted exceptions.. Moi of course your favorite struggling actress who moonlights as a waitress, Biff my on again off again boyfriend, the 200 Year Old Great Writer from the Astral Realm and Mr Gabriel the noted film critic...OK the two newcomers are Helos, a 'Space Brother' ('Alien' is now an offensive word in our PC driven society) from the planet Zatoris as Alocki couldn't make it, and Au my Spirit Guide from the Great Beyond. Au you said you guided a soul who was a 1920s actress who appeared in 'Wings,' a silent film that was the first Academy Award winner 83 years ago. Was it Clara Bow?

Stinko: I praytell practically any movie made in 2012 but I'll nominate 'The Watch.'
OK that's it....I notice 200 YOGW you of course love anyone or anything European as opposed to American or 'The Colonies.' I do like Amour though and thought it was the second best film after 'Silver Linings Playbook.' Hard to imagine anyone beating Daniel Day Lewis but rooting for Bradly Cooper from 'Playbook.' Great job he did. And for Heaven sake's Jennifer Lawrence your young enough to be Emmanuelle Riva's gear grandaughter.
You'll get so many more chances. Rooting for the veteran here. Also don't want to forget one of the youngest Oscar contenders ever with Quvenzhane Walls, this cute little girl did such a great job in another movie nominated for Best Picture,,,'Beasts of the Southern Wild..' Actually this year with Ms Walls and Ms. Lewis we have the youngest and oldest Best Actress nominees ever. OK so hope you all enjoy the Oscars tonight.
