We have a little girl named Breanna Hope. She is four yeras old and is a little medical miracle. Doctors didn't think she would live as long as she has. That she is still here is nothing short of amazing.
Our daughter was born with a rare brain malformation called hydroencephaly. They didn't think she would see, hear, or do anything but lie there while we tended to her needs. Well, Breanna can hear and see just fine; she just cannot talk or walk. Doctors don't know if she ever will, but we will do everything possible to give her a very good life, even in spite of all that she has been through.
Breanna is just like any other little girl: that is, she laughs, she loves the colors pink, red, and purple, anything to do with Disney or princesses, snuggling with us on these cold, winter-driven days, and going to church and to pre-K (she goes to a school for children with severe special needs).
We don't know what the future holds for our daughter, but as I just said, we plan on making her life as enjoyable as possible. She has been nothing but a blessing in our lives and we feel priveleged that she is our daughter.
Besides Breanna, we have two sons: Brayden Charles (13) and Malcolm Patrick (6), and another daughter, Ryleigh Carlissa (2), who is currently in China (we are in the process of adopting her; hopefully she will be here before too long; we are excited about adding to our family). We will soon have two sons and two daughters.
We also have three dogs (all Pitbulls who are the sweetest, biggest babies; the worst thing they can do is lick someone to death! LOL).
My husband, McGarrett, is an attorney; as for me, I am a homemaker and homeschool teacher. We live in Green Bay, Wisconsin (GO, Green Bay Packers!!).
Well, I hate to run, but it's time to hook Breanna up to her "suppertime feeding" and give her her afternoon medications. I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Tina Worcester (pronounced like Wooster) saying so long; may God bless you as much as He's blessed us!
