The man abducted by space aliens continues to have flashbacks; the nightmares he experiences are worse than ever.

The dreams just will not go away.

No matter what I do, they remain, as vivid as ever.  I haven't had a decent night's sleep in since I don't know when.

I haven't been able to eat or go to work or even eat right.  I have lost a lot of weight and I am no longer the same person I was before all of this happened to me.

I wonder if I truly am going insane .... maybe I do need to be in a mental hospital: nobody, not even my wife or kids, will even believe me.  All they do is laugh or mock me.

I am terrified that I may be getting pregnant, but I somehow doubt that.  If I were pregnant (if it were at all possible for me, a man, to get pregnant ... ), I would be gaining weight and would be developing a noticable belly.  Nope.  My belly is as flat as a board and I am so skinny I can see my ribs showing whenever I remove my shirt.

I wonder if those otherwordly beings gave me something like cancer or perhaps a strange ailment from outer space that has no name .... I just haven't felt right; I think a trip to my doctor is in order ....

Just keep me in your prayers and thoughts.  Not that I am much into religion (and I'm not), but I could really use some support and/or assistance ....

A Subtle Armageddon by Charles Cosgriff

A Subtle Armageddon follows in the tradition of C.S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien in defending traditional values in an increasingly secular culture. It deals with the plight of the last man on Earth, who ought to have had it easy. But he is not the la
