My friends and I have been in detention so much we've decided to start our own club. We call it "The Detention Club" (how original, huh??).
Our meetings are held during (what else) detention (much to the annoyance of the teacher-in-charge) or after school, or on weekends, when the weather's nasty outside. At these meetings, we talk about the teachers (natch) or the unfairness of being caught yet again, and what we would do if we were in charge.
It may not help our overall situation all that much, but hey, it sure makes us feel a lot better after we've had a chance to vent out our feelings!
So far there's ten in the club: me, my friends Stanley and Jason, as well as Corbin, Kim Park Ho, Tad, Torquin, Clyve, Ryan, and Michael. We are regularly known to be slackers, cut-ups, mischevous, and all-around trouble-makers. We all hate school and we find any way possible to get out of doing homework or studying. (As you can probably imagine, our grades suck, but if school proved to be more intereseting, we'd apply ourelves better.)
We don't know how long our club will last, but while it's still in operation, we gotta support each other somehow and let the other kids know just how unfair being in detention can be!
