A black Labrador retriever is the life of the party and in the lives of his family. This is his story.

King is one fine speciman of canine, if I do say so myself.

King is very intelligent, eager to please, and wants to be in on everything.  He is a people pleaser; there isn't a person that he does not know.  Anybody he meets is a potential friend; he doesn't know a stranger.

King loves everybody: children, adults, even oldsters and babies.  The worst he can do to someone is lick 'em to death.  This is why we get concerned whenever we have to go out of state, for fear that someone will break into our house, only to get licked by our dog.

Some watchdog he is ....

Parties are his specialty.  He loves getting in on the games or chasing the children around, or trying to get treats from people.  He loves to wear party hats and try to eat the candles on the cake (we are very careful not to let him do this; it could be dangerous, but he still tries).

King loves to play hide and seek, fetch, go swimming, race after the children (or after the cat), and watch the rain (or snow) falling.  He does  hate storms; lightning and thunder reduce him to a quivering, quaking lump; he hides underneath the bed, whimpering piteously.

King is the best thing that could have ever happened to us.  We have had him for the past four years; even though he is technically a teenager in dog years, he still has plenty of puppy left inside of him!  We cannot imagine our world without him!  We love our canine buddy with every fiber of our being!
