We didn't plan to add Addison Mei Mei or Carmella Xie Ba to our family; it just happened.  Once we saw their faces in the pictures the adoption agency had sent us, we could not say no.  We were smitten; we knew we had to have the two sisters in our family.

We started the adoption process right away.  It took over a year and a half from start to finish; for a while we didn't think we were going to get the two girls, but God obviously had other plans.  The adoption was approved and we ended up with two more children.  From three children, we went up to five, thanks to the additions of Addison and Carmella, who both joined our family back in December, right around Christmastime.  What a Christmas present!!

Addison and Carmella both have special needs.  Addi has cerebral palsy; as for Carmella, she has albinism.  Even though she is Chinese, she has very fair skin, hair that is as white as snow, and blue, almond-shaped eyes.  She is very exotic looking, not to mention, very beautiful.  Addi is six; Carmella, meanwhile, is eight.

In addition to Carmella and Addi, we have our own three children: twelve-year-old Aeden, four-year-old Patrick, and one-year-old Tyler (girl).  They keep us on our toes, especially our two youngest and the two girls we added to our family.

We wouldn't have it any other way.  God has truly blessed us in more ways than one; and who knows? We may add to our family if God sees to it!  You may not have heard the last of our story just yet; there may very well be more, especially if more children come to our family!  Until later, this is Kymberli Adams saying so long; may God bless you as much as He's blessed us!
