It was a normal crowded shopping mall. One thing that all malls have in common is the noise that comes from the population. It lasts forever and it exists no matter where you walk. Another thing they have in common is limited seating. Sometimes in this confusion, you could find a sunken deep area that takes you down three steps and located from end to end. Inside this area, there normally would be peaceful settings with four leather soft cushions on both sides facing each other.
On one seat, a paper book sat closed all by itself leaving you with the thought that someone might have been reading it. But it just rested there all alone. An elderly man was seen walking and, for some reason, he looked down near the three steps and glanced in the sunken area where upon the soft leather cushion, there rested the paper book. The man had a black suit and a gray shirt and a gray beard. What was odd about him, he had black shoes that were curled like a giant S. He had a hard time walking and yet it seemed he had no pain.
During all this time the lonely paper book remained as the old man disappeared into the crowd. The person who had been reading the book never came back, yet in the background the noise never missed a beat.
