A woman is trying to count her blessings in all things. This is her story.

God has a way of making people pay attention (like, for example, when things go wrong), but then again, He has a way of putting things into perspective by bringing unexpected blessings.

We are currently basking in the afterglow of God's provincial blessings; we are truly grateful.  We were on the brink of losing our home due to past due payments, but an unexpected blessing allowed us to pay it off in full!

We don't know where the extra funds came from, but apparently, someone saw that we were in great need and decided to help.  At least, that's what I figure.

It is so nice to know that there are kind hearted people in this world.  If it were not for them, we would be living on the streets, homeless and without any hope.

I am a single parent to three small girls under the age of five.  My husband was killed in battle last year, just after the youngest was born.  She never even knew her father.  He had left for Afghanistan one week after her birth and was killed almost immediately after getting off of the plane.  Or so it seems.

It is a struggle just to put food on the table or to pay the bills on time, such as the house.  That's always been a huge worry.

I work five days a week as a waitress, and sometimes, the tips aren't happening.  I was seriously thinking of getting a second job when this unexpected windfall came in.  It was just in the nick of time.  We are suddenly in the clear.

I just wish I knew who our benefactor is so I can personally thank them for their generosity.
