Dear Journal,

I am very worried. 

Just heard from Thu, my daughter in law.  It turns out that our oldest son, Anh Kim, was badly injured when strong tornadic winds blew his car off of the road.  Details are sketchy at this time, but we have learned that he has possible broken bones.

I have been keeping in touch with Thu, trying to get more information.  I can say that Bella, their baby daughter, is okay.  Thu and Bella were not with Anh.  They were at home, in their shelter.  They are fine.

Anh, though ...

I don't know if I'll be going to Oklahoma or not.  Depends on how Anh is doing.

I have been on my face in prayer these past two weeks, ever since this weather event started.  It seems like every day there has been threat after threat of severe storms in the Heartland.  Several communities have been hit again and again.

The threat seems to be easing for that part of the country, but the system is heading our way.  Lovely.  Tomorrow could be our turn.

They don't think it will be as bad as what happend there.  Lord, I hope not.  Can't rule it out, severe is severe.  Lord, keep us safe.

We have not heard from our son, Johnny, or Rebekka, his wife.  They live in Norman, Oklahoma.  I have been on Facebook and have been trying to call his number, but no answer.

I am extremely concerned, since both of them are disabled.  Johnny is on a ventilator. 

I am not doing very well, as you can see.  Just keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and pray for Anh, Thu and Bella.  Also pray that we hear from Johnny and Rebekka!

I am very scared right now ...
