Dear All~
Louie here. Hope this finds y'all well and happy; I couldn't be more thrilled! I am at my daughter and son-in-law's house, helping out with the new arrival (actually, there are two, but one, Dean, remains at the hospital until he gets more weight on him; the hospital will not release Dean until he reaches five pounds). Ronee' is still rather sore from her recent surgery; that's to be expected, but she is coming along beautifully. She is glad to be home but is trying to get used to the fact that she is now a mother ... and I'm trying to get used to the fact that I'm a grandmother ... AGAIN!!
Dean and Dillon are beautiful: they look like their daddy, but they have Ronee' 's eyes, thick dark thatch of hair, dimples, and her little snub nose, whereas they have their daddy's mouth, chin, and ears. They have the best of both parents in their looks; they are such handsome little baby boys!
Michael is walking around like a proud banty rooster, with his chest stuck out; Ronee', meanwhile, is lying on her bed, fast asleep, her two kitties beside her. The kitties keep stealing glances at Dillon, trying to figure out just who this small, mysterious little "stranger" is and what he is doing in their house. They keep walking over to his crib and keep on sniffing him, checking him out, and wondering why he is even here.
Sorry, kitties: you're both going to have to get used to the fact that your "Mama" and "Daddy" are now parents themselves; the babies are now a part of the family, whether you like it or not! You're going to have to get used to having children around; the life you knew before they came has since passed; life for you both will never be the same ever again!
If they are having this much trouble figuring things out, wait until Dean comes home from the hospital: then the kitties will have double trouble! LOL
Only four days old, and Dillon and Dean are already spoiled, not only by me and their grandpa (or their great grandfather and grandmother), but by their new aunties and uncles (and they have a ton of them)! They're already getting all the attention (well, Dillon is, anyway; Dean does whenever we go to the hospital to visit him), and they've gotten more gifts (toys, baby blankets, baby clothes, diapers, etc.) than they will know that to do with! LOL
Well, I hate to run, but Ronee' is calling; she needs me. I will write in here again soon; until then, take care and God bless; this is Louisiana Sandusky signing off!
~Love, Grandmere' (Grandma) Louie. :)
