Mi hija. 

Every time I look at Esperanza, my heart glows.  She is my heart, my soul, my everything.  I love her so much!

Esperanza Maria Josefina is thirteen, but compared to a lot of kids her age, she has a very good head on her shoulders.  She is very bright and has the most compassionate heart of any child I have ever known.

While many kids her age are often getting into trouble, my daughter, mi hija, she spends her weekends helping out at the local soup kitchen, helping to feed the homeless and poor population of our city, reaching out to them in their time of need, praying for them, and just letting them know that they have an ally in her.

Esperanza is absolutely incredible!

In additon to working on Saturdays, Esperanza also babysits for several neighborhood families (often for little or no pay), and she sings every Sunday at church in the choir.  She is a very strong Christian who gave her heart to the Lord when she was just seven, and she shows the love of Jesus Christ in just about everything she does!

If you want to know how a Christian should live, one needs not to look any further than my daughter. 

I wish more kids were like Esperanza.  The world would certainly be a much better place!
