I am going to figure out a way how to deal with these scarecrows that have suddenly sprung to life.  I am scared that they will devour our family and take over the farm.  I am guessing that is what they want.

For the past week or so, I have been hearing noises outside.  Noises that sound like the rustling of leaves on a windy night, even when there hasn't been a hint of a breeze.  That was when I happened to look out ... and, to my horror, saw the scarecrows lurching about our garden, headed towards only God knows where.

I thought I was seeing things at first, but then the next night, it happened again.  And again during the following night and the night after that.  

I don't know what these beastly things want, but I am going to do all I possibly can to protect my family.  I figure they can't really hurt me: they're only made of straw; what harm could they possibly even do??  Yet their eyes glow with an eerie red light and they are very much alive as I see them shambling in the yard.  They must want something really bad to come to life like they have, and I am going to get to the bottom of this and find out exactly what it is.
