Emily Jacobson receives an invitation for a Halloween party hosted by her new friend Veronica.When she arrives, her draw drops at the sight of all the realistic looking props outside and she momentarily questions her friend’s sanity.She enters the house anyways and finds many horrific surprises; some fake, but others are real.Will she get out alive?

A well-written story filled with all the imagined Halloween horror that people expect after visiting haunted houses reminiscent of the old carny freak shows that seem to interest people because of their outrageousness. It is a formula story destined to please those who like “scary, but not brutal” stories brought on by dreams and childhood fears carried into adulthood.
Growing up, a few miles away in Plainfield, there was a farmer hermit by the name of Ed Gein. Several young women disappeared in the area over the years. When he was discovered, Ed was cooking a human body part on the stove and had his house filled with crafts that he is made from human body parts and bones. The chairs in his kitchen were covered with leather made from human skin. Ed Gein has been used as a model for movies like Psycho and Hannibal Lecter. True life is often more interesting and horrific than fiction.
While I occasionally write horrific stories brought on by dreams and other brain conditions, stories of this type are not of any real interest to me. But, based what I know about human nature, you have a large following.
