Where is 94 year old Mrs. Ruby Logan, whose last known home address is 57 West Lawson Lane, Dixmoor, IL, 60426.  In January 2013, Mrs. Logan was having some repairs done to her home and at some point she became ill, and was found unconscious by the Mayor of Dixmoork IL.,  lying on her floor in her home, located at 57 West Lawson Lane, Dixmoor, IL., 60426.  In December 2012,  Mrs. Logan, acquired a Power of Attorney, Dorothy Armstrong, who works for the Social Security Administration, and who was selected  Mayor of Dixmoor, moved Mrs. Logan in with her at 14423 Oakley , Dixmoor, Il., 60426 Dorothy Armstrong’s  phone number is:  (708-359-6916).  

 

THIS IS THE STORY….

 

When I'd had enough of the "good life" in Dallas, Texas and the drugs had taken over on me, I wanted to go backwards.  I'd lived in Chicago for ten years prior before moving to Dallas.  However, in the 80's the drug scenes in different major cities across the united states, had taken over my life.  I just wanted to be free. But being free came with a price.  I had to go to prison.  While I was in prison, I learned to love myself.  

 

 

 In September of 2012, Mrs. Logan took ill and called on Mrs. Dorothy Armstrong to assist her. According to Mrs. Armstrong,  after finding Mrs. Logan  in November or December 2012, on  her home floor, unconscious, an ambulance was called, and Mrs. Logan was rushed to the hospital, while Mr. Edwin Mills, an ex-brother in law of Mrs. Armstrong,  stayed back and worked on finishing  the repairs needed to Mrs. Logan’s house.  According to Mrs. Armstrong, “Mrs. Logan was getting on Ed‘s nerves is what she said to me.  Edwin Mills, had installed a furnace unlike any other she’d ever seen, and she, Mrs. Logan was so flabbergasted , about the new furnace these people had put in.   She said she’d never seen a furnace like that before. She said it was made “straight up.”  Whatever that meant.   Then they were suppose to have a walk in bath installed, for Mrs. Logan to walk in, have a sit,  to take showers etc.   Before Dorothy Armstrong was appointed Mrs. Logan’s POA, Mrs. Logan had some other carpenter to put a roof on both her house and garage.  She later complained that the wind was blowing off the tops, and that she was going to report him to the Senior Abuse Bureau, for taking advantage of the elderly.  These are/were her words to me.  I am not sure who this man was.  She never mentioned his name to me.  Even if she did, I don’t remember it.  

 

On December 25, 2012, Mrs. Logan called me after acquiring Dorothy Armstrong for her Power of Attorney, and said, “Come and Bring the Uhaul.  They are spending all of my money.“  I knew she was upset.  I could hear it in her voice!  Yet, I knew she wanted to keep her independence and remain in her own home too, as long as she could.  It was apparent that she didn’t want to come to a hot climate at that particular time, since I live in Las Vegas.  However, the following day, which was December 26, 2012, in an early morning call to Mrs. Logan,, I specifically asked her, “Do you still want me to come and get you?.“  She said, “I am alright.“  I said, “Are you sure?  She was living in her own home at this time.  I said to her, “Just say the words and I will come and get you.“  She knew I would have too.“  Because not only am I a former tenant of Mrs. Logan of almost 20 years, we developed a mother and daughter bond long before Mrs. Logan only biological child, a daughter died in 1998.  I lived on her property from September, 1987 to November,  2006. We’ve been in touch with one another  every day, even after my relocating to Las Vegas for my career.  I could never ever in this life time (teary eyed) find another kind hearted, and mild mannered short lady who is GOD fearing, who is genuine and every way, who not only took me under her wings, but also many others‘ children in and around her neighborhood.  She always encouraged and never ever discouraged.  She is who help put me on the road today.  .  Perhaps the most influential aspect of our relationship is that I have done something s she’d advised me on to do.  Something she alleges that her own daughter didn’t do.  She always said, “Joe Ann , you listens, and your are resourceful.”   These are two strengths in my life that I never knew I had, until she helped me to realize. I’ve been pondering over and over in my mind, wondering why  Mrs. Logan changed her Power of Attorney to Darlene, who is Mrs. Logan’s dead husband’s niece, why did Mrs. Logan home phone continue to ring at Mrs. Armstrong’s house long after Mrs. Logan had revoked her (Mrs. Armstrong) as her “Power of Attorney.”  Mrs. Logan cell phone has been ringing with Mrs. Armstrong’s voice saying, “You’ve reached Ruby Logan.”  But you don’t reach Ruby Logan!  The reason I know it is/was Mrs. Armstrong voice, is because it sounds/sounded like her voice.  Plus she has admitted that it was her voice.  It my understanding that Mrs. Logan got a contract of two cell phones where, she was/is responsible for the bill.  Mrs. Armstrong can tell you more about the cell phones, because according to Darlene, while she was visiting the day Mrs. Armstrong left her job, after speaking with me, went to Ingalls Hospital, in room E565, where Mrs. Logan was hospitalized and took the cell phone.  This is what Darlene told me over the phone the day, Mrs. Logan, was trying to call me to come and get her.   

 

According to Darlene, and my only known connection is  a cell phone number, and that  708-715-5516.  In another telephone conversation, I asked Mrs. Logan about  Darlene, she said, “that’s Carl’s niece.  She lives in Monee, IL in Will County.  I said to her, “Are you going home with her?  She said, “No!” I am waiting for you to come on  the weekend to get me.”  Because this is when I told her, it was the ONLY time I could travel, because I just had an outpatient surgery.  However, almost two years prior, Mrs. Logan told me in a conversation that, that same niece wanted her house.  I sighed in shock. “She said, don’t worry honey, she will not get it.” These are (Mrs. Logan’s) exact words.  

 

On Sunday, August 18th 2013, I phoned in to the Cook County Sheriff Elderly abuse program.  They’ve connected me with Catholic Charities, downtown Harvey, IL.  A Mrs. Cynthia, Hendrix, 708-596-2222, ext 238, has been investigating this case.  Yet, in our last conversation, she said she don’t have an address.  Yet, I needed to know and feel in my heart that I am not going “crazy.”  So, I asked her, “Ms. Cynthia, tell me I am assuming, but will you answer this question for me?.  Why would people take an old lady from the hospital and hold her against her will, take away her telephone, to keep them from calling her friends, and loved ones.  Her reply was, “is to control.”  Mrs. Logan is shut off from all of her friends.  Friends she has known for year.  Who worked on jobs with her and those in the neighborhood.  One of Mrs. Logan‘s friends, whom I‘ve never met, Mrs. Logan and she has been friends for 66 years.  They grew up on the near south side of Chicago together.  Her name is Atlena.  She lives in the Senior Citizen Building off of 76 and Racine, on the near southwest side of Chicago.  She is 103 years old.  If Mrs. Logan has not called (Dorothy in Orlanda Florida, Betty Tatum, who lives in Momence, IL, AtLena, 103, who lives off 76 &Racine in Chicago, IL, Lena Howard, who lives in Dixmoor, IL off 147th Street in Dixmoor, where Dixmoor and Harvey, IL meets, then “MRS. RUBY L. LOGAN IS MISSING and held against her will.  This I am sure of.  I know that well!”  She would have surely called ME!  I do know this much.  I feel she is cut off from friends and distant family members because of her investments, home, money, etc.  Please, help her.  Please.  Please help to find her….She will be 94 on November 14, 2013.  We as her friends who all concerned about her, should be able to continue to wish her a “happy birthday” as we have done for the last 20 odd years, no matter where she is living and who is taking care of her.  It is not fair to take a Senior away from their little social life, I.e., friends who keeps her laughing and share humorous stories with.    Please Please Please Please air this story.  Please Please.  Please (Photos of Mrs. Logan in her younger days are attached.)  

 

Significantly, I am/was told by Ms.  Armstrong,  on September 11, 2013, that Mrs. Logan’s friend, Dorothy from Orlanda, Florida, called her inquiring about Mrs. Logan.  Mrs. Logan will always want to talk with her and me…Always!.  We prayed every morning together.  We sung hymns together over the telephone, I shared my performances with her.  The Mayor of Dixmoor, Dorothy Armstrong can confirm, because according Mrs.Logan, she and Dorothy got into a heated argument over how our teenagers are being raised to day, and Mrs. Logan, confirmed that she knew a teenage boy who was not like most teenagers in today’s world.  And what Mrs. Logan told her was true , but Mrs. Armstrong didn’t believe it until I sent an email to her with my and my grand son performing at different venues across America, and our website,  and you tube videos.   Mrs. Logan, said to me.  “I am so glad you sent that information to her, because she thought I was lying.” Dorothy Armstrong, according to Mrs. Logan, sat and watched all videos.  On Saturday, June 8th, 2013, I called Mrs. Logan, to check on her, and she told it was too hot where she was and asked me to called Dorothy Armstrong to come home to turn on the air.  Because she was hot, and when she got too hot, she (Mrs. Logan) passes out.  I did exactly, what Mrs. Logan asked me to do.  When I called Mrs. Armstrong, she was out shopping with her niece, at that time when she answered, and I told her what was wrong, I sensed in her voice a sense of disappointment as though to say, “I am tired of you and Mrs.Logan.”  She didn’t physical say it, but I could tell by her breath over the phone, she didn’t like that Mrs. Logan asking me to call her to come home to turn on the air.  According to Mrs. Armstrong, the air conditioner was on.  It is my personal opinion that the air conditioned was on, but turned down low.  

 

On the weekend of June 29th, 2013, I received a phone called from Mrs. Logan cell phone.  When I answered it, I could hear Mrs. Armstrong over the telephone, with an unusual tone in her voice.  She sounded mad.  Then the phone hung up.  So I called back the number which is/was Mrs. Logan Cell phone number, 708-220-4153.  I didn’t realize at that time that the call was coming from the hospital until Mrs. Armstrong answered the phone.  Apparently, she‘d hung up the phone because she didn‘t want Mrs. Logan  talking with me.  When I called back the number, Mrs. Armstrong  said, the hospital called and asked her to come and get her out of the hospital, because she (Mrs. Logan ) was very unruly.  According to Mrs. Armstrong, Mrs. Logan went through some kind of ritual.  Mrs. Logan told me that the nurse at Ingalls Hospital, located downtown Harvey, held her down in an abusive manner, trying to put her in a straight jacket  saying she was “dementia.“ and this when she began to call on the name of GOD through Jesus Christ where there is much more power.  I wonder what ritual Mrs. Armstrong is declaring Mrs. Logan went through during her ordeal with hospital personnel.   

 

On July 5th, 2013, I had an operation, and on the 6th of July, I called Dorothy Armstrong‘s cell phone number , only to find that Mrs. Logan was back in the hospital once again.  I know this happens to the elderly, especially if they are  extremely old, severely sick and near death.  But in my opinion, this was not the case.  Mrs. Logan, whenever talking to me would always be  in her right mind.  When I phoned Mrs. Logan room,  which was Room E565 on July 6th, 2013, I phoned Mrs. Logan home phone too  (702-388-1660). There was not answer.  Then I called Dorothy Armstrong’s cell phone number at 708-359-6916 to inquire,  and to find out why Mrs. Logan is not answer her phones.  When Mrs. Armstrong, answered her cell phone, she was hysterical.  I said, “What is going on?”  She told me that when she arrived to her home.  Mrs. Logan had smashed out all of her windows, and unplugged every thing that was in the house.  I said what?  She said, then Mrs. Logan picked up a glass and said, “should I hit Dorothy with this glass or not.“  I was so very much surprised.  Because it takes a lot for Mrs. Logan to go off like that.  She is so mild mannered and kind hearted.  

 

It gets better!  Now, by this time,  I am anxious to talk to Mrs. Logan.  So I called the hospital and asked for Ruby L. Logan’s room.  They hooked us up!  I asked Mrs. Logan what was going on.  She said, “Mrs. Armstrong had been locking her up in the house with windows down, with little or no air, so she smashed her windows out, to get some fresh air, and that each and every day that Mrs. Armstrong went to work, she watched her  and saw how she locked the door and this how she got out.  She said after she ran and  got out side, Mrs. Armstrong ran behind her, caught her,  snatched on her, trying to make her come back into her home, she fell, and there was rolled up carpet near the garage door, this is how she pulled up on that and got out, through Mrs. Armstrong‘ garage door.  She said Mrs. Armstrong asked her where was she going, she said she told her she was going to the nursing home.  She said she told her, “I will get better treatment.”  I was so surprised.  Because every time I spoke with Mrs. Armstrong, she seemed nice at times other times she would act non shalant.  Mrs. Logan, went on to say, that after Mrs. Armstrong saw the Bank Book with my name on it, Joe Ann Davis, a Saving Account where Mrs. Logan had put money in that account back in the late 90’s for me.  Mrs. Logan said that Mrs. Armstrong asked for the money, and she refused to give it to her. This is when all the abuse started.  When I called Mrs. Armstrong to inquire.  She said, to me, “ I am putting Ms. Ruby in a nursing home, a federal one, one where they don’t take everything she got.“  It was my thought, “Why should you care if they take everything she got. It is her stuff.   I said to her,  I asked you almost a year ago, not to put her in a nursing home, to call me first.”  She said, “Joe Ann, you been saying you was coming to get her.”  I said, yes, but only if she, (Mrs. Logan.) says come to get her.  Not you!”   I could tell she was very very upset.  I don’t know if it was because Mrs. Logan had smashed out her windows and unplugged everything in the house.  Yet, when I spoke to Mrs. Logan.  She said, that Mrs. Dorothy had her admitted in the hospital claiming “dementia.”  According to Mrs. Logan, Dorothy Armstrong, wanted her to be diagnosed as  “dementia.”  So they could take if not all of what she had but most and not give in account of the funds going and coming from Mrs. Logan’s investments.  Mrs. Logan said she even asked the doctor, why did he diagnosis her as “dementia.”  She told me that the doctor said to her, , “They rushed those papers by me so fast, that I didn’t have time to read them.”  Looks like this physician, a heart doctor, whom Mrs. Logan had been seeing for years,  allowed the Power of Attorney and/or care taker to tell him what was wrong with Mrs. Logan.  Which is unheard of in the health care world.  How can this be, a care taker telling the doctor what is wrong with his patient.  And in the case the old lady has “dementia.”  

 

During Mrs. Logan’s last hospital stay at Ingalls Hospital,  in Downtown Harvey, her dead husband’s niece whose name is Darlene, only connection I have, is a phone number at 708-715-5516, who lives some where in Monee, IL, in a 9 room house, no known direct address.  Apparently, Darlene went by Mrs. Logan’s house and Edwin Mills, was there and he told Darlene Mrs. Logan was in Ingalls hospital.  Okay now.  This is where it gets rough.  After I told Mrs. Armstrong about what Mrs. Logan said she’d done to her, and that Mrs. Logan had me to call her attorney, to revoke her as power of attorney,  Mrs. Armstrong , left her job, at the Social Security Administration, went to the hospital and Darlene was there.  According to Darlene, Mrs. Armstrong was so upset with Mrs. Logan, until she took her cell phone while she was in the hospital.   What if Mrs. Logan needed the phone for something.  It is my opinion that the Mayor of Dixmoor, Dorothy Armstrong took Mrs. Logan‘s cell phone on that very date, to keep her from talking to me.  This is also what Darlene is doing too.  Mrs. Logan wants to come home with me, but since she has no contact (a phone to call) she can’t which means she is being held captive  and/or a hostage held against her will.     

 

After Darlene’s numerous attempt to contact me, for Mrs. Logan while she was in the hospital, on the tenth attempt, they got me.  Darlene said to me. “ She is not dementia”  I told her my situation and that I could not come and get her until the weekend, which was the weekend of July 11th.  Darlene’s reply, “Oh don’t worry, we will get you hear over night tomorrow night.“  Well two days went by, and I called her cell phone, (708-715-5516) left a message in regards to her offer,  in her flying me to Chicago to get Mrs. Logan, and we’d reimburse her once I arrived.“  After two days investigation,  Darlene called in a frantic state, and said, “She has everybody’s name on that WILL.“  I said to her, “Why are all of you people worried about Mrs. Logan money?  What about is she being bathe, well fed, hair combed, is she being wiped and properly changed.“  She said to me. “She is not coming home with you!  She is coming home with me!“  I said to her. “Oh, You’ve changed your mind, for two days, you’ve investigated and saw what Mrs. Logan is worth and now you are just going to take her.“  She repeated,  “She is coming home with me.“  So it’s  my belief, Mrs. Logan went home with her, after Darlene told her that I was not coming to get her and now she, Mrs. Logan is being held away from me and all friends because her of estate.  I am positive of it.   I know she wants to be with me and my grand son.  I know this.  However, on August 14, I called that number 708-715-5516, and left two harsh messages.  A man with a first name ending in “co” maybe rico, rocho, something of that nature.  He said to me.  “Mrs. Logan doesn’t want to talk with anybody, because she has been taken so.” (meaning Mrs. Logan money is being taken).   I said, “Yeah, because you all are taken it.”  I don’t think he knew or even cared who I was.  But he made sure he told me that “Mrs.Logan had been taken so.”  

 

After Mrs. Logan’s was released from the hospital, Darlene, along with a nurse, a man who was pushing Mrs. Logan around in a wheel chair, the Mayor of Dixmoor, IL, Dorothy Armstrong had a meeting at Mrs. Logan house sometime in July.  Since Mrs. Logan had smashed out Mrs. Armstrong’s windows, I am sure it was because of this.  Because Mrs. Logan said to me, “yes I smashed them out and I can pay for every one of them.“  

 

Darlene  at (708-715-5516) questioned the Mayor of Dixmoor, Dorothy Armstrong saying, that Mrs. Logan had $30,000 missing.  Ms. Armstrongs said she was asking Mrs. Logan all the while,  “Ms. Ruby, why are you doing this?“  She said that Darlene said to Mrs. Logan, “Zip it. Zip it.“  How are you going to tell an old lady to Zip it especially when she knows what she is talking about.  

 

Also and according to Ms Armstrong, and after Mrs. Logan revoked her as Power of Attorney, and how Ms. Armstrong knew this, “I don’t know,“ but she said to me, that the bank said that it look “suspicious.“  Meaning the transition  or revocation from her as Power of Attorney to Darlene as Power of Attorney looks suspicious.  All of it looks and sounds suspicious to me.  Please help!  Somebody in the hierarchy of government!  Please don’t let the system fail Mrs. Logan.  Let this inspirational story, hit the television air waves.  Mrs. Logan needs to know that  she is and always have been saved by the Grace of God once again!”

Conclusively, I need to know in my mind, body and soul, if Mrs. Ruby L. Logan is still alive and well, and if she still wants to come home and live with me STILL in Las Vegas as she had prior, before she was taken and held hostage.  It is not fair!  Please find her and bring her home to either her home or mines.   She need not go to a nursing home.  As I’ve told her years before.  Please don’t say your are going  into a nursing home ever, because, I am the NURSE and you have the HOME!  

 

A True Story,  will you please AIR IT!  Bring Mrs. Ruby Logan out of Bondage as a Hostage and home to  all of her SOCIAL FRIENDS!  We need her!

Just for the records....On December 2, 2013, around 1:00PM, I received a telephone call from this 708-715-5516, it was Darlene Clopton, Mrs. Logan's dead husband's neice.  About two seconds went passed, I heard Mrs. Logan voice for the very first time in 5 months.  I just spoke and said in a cheerful voice, "Hi Mrs. Logan."  Out all the  5 Wellness checks I'd ask for, Monee Police Department was the only one who returned a phone call letting me know that Mrs. Logan was well and looked well, and I truly appreciate it.  

 

However, back in October Darlene Clopton, told me that she put a "restraining order"  "a RED FLAG" on me, for what I don't know!  Yet, on this very date (mentioned above)  she had Mrs. Logan on the phone.  My most inner being could not and would not allow me listen to Ms. Clopton's, since her tone of voice as she was saying to Mrs. Logan "aunt Ruby you've hung up the phone," it was so very unkind  and almost resentful.  Maybe this is just her persona/character.  I am not sure.  These are just  my personal belief.    So I laid the phone down, called another friend in Chicago, we talked about 15 minutes.  When I went back to the phone, Ms. Clopton was still saying "You put all of these things on this paper about me."  While before, the letter, she never even allowed me and Mrs. Logan to speak...Maybe Mrs. Logan doesn't want to speak with me, but she hasn't told me that.  I'd love to see her (Mrs.Logan) not to "suggest" that she comes with me, if she is comfortable where she is.  God knows....It is only her well being I am so concerned for. I feel the need to let her know for sure, that  I am here for her.  Just like she's always been for me.  ... I don't know how this is possible, since Ms. Clopton has put a "restraining order" on me.  These are here words to me back in October, after the Monee Police did a wellness check for me on Mrs. Logan.  Why a "restraining order?"I have never even met this lady (Darlene Clopton) I wouldn't know her even she called my name."   Yet, she puts this type of halt on me, keeping me away from the mother GOD's blessed me with.  I love Mrs. Logan.  Mrs. Logan, since the date I met her, has always showed me love in kindess, something I never knew or felt until we bonded.  Ask anybody who knows our relationship. 

 

Yet, some of the verbal abuse, the mayor of dixmoor, dorothy armstrong, was or is "where is all of  the people you know,  and have on your papers, when you need the "crap" cleaned  out of your ass."  Mrs. Armstrong said this to me, as she had taken Mrs. Logan some place and Mrs. Logan, made her look foolish, according to Mrs. Armstrong.  Since the time Mrs. Logan changed her power of attorney, I am not sure if she been in and out of the hospital with Ms. Clopton, as she was with Ms. Armstrong.  It was almost every other weekend, Mrs. Logan was in the hospital, when Dorothy Armstrong was her Power of Attorney.... Although I am not a policeman, or a detective, but I know something was going on abusively, if mrs. logan has not been in any hospital since she changed her Power of Attorney, to Darlene Clopton. 

 

After I heard her voice on December 2nd 2013, I felt the need to visit her, but how can I, when Darlene Clopton has already told me she has a "restraining order" on me.  For what?  For checking on the elderly....This should be a red flag!.  I am only guilty of the "goodness and kindness" I need to give back to Mrs. Logan as she has been to me.  Isaiah 1 verse 17, " says "We must plead the widows/elderly cause."  The reason why, is because they can't do it for themselves.  I am only guility of "giving back" to Mrs. Logan... Mrs. Logan owes me nothing... I owe her everything and my all (teary eyed).    If only you knew how it hurts, not being able to speak or talk to a mother who has been there for me (a motherless child), who always encouraged me and never discouraged me.  IT HURTS TO MY GUT!  .  I've never done anything to Darlene Clopton.  Again.  I don't know her.  

 

So please tell me what my options are, if any to visit Mrs. Logan at 26601 S.Windfield, Monee, IL 60449.  Since Ms. Clopton has put a "restraining order" on me...I'd like to know for what.  For merely checking on "my spiritual mother."  Or is it because like Ms. Armstrong, she's seen a lot of Mrs. Logan's personals and is threathened...Again, Mrs. Logan has not told she doesn't want to talk with me, when for the last 20 odd years we've always shown each other nothing but LOVE!  PLEASE HELP ME.  I need to know how can my grand son and I visit Mrs. Ruby Logan, by law!

On the other hand.  The reason for Darlene Clopton's call, is to question me about the memo I sent out, before I found Mrs. Logan.  When I found her, is when I ask the Seniors of Will back in October for an investigation.  I have later learned that people are living in Mrs. Logan's home, (perhaps rented out).  Why take her money and do the repairs on her home and then move her out into a home where she has no telephone of her own.  I just want to be able to speak with her or even get her, if this is what she wants...but if she is comfortable with who she is with... Well, who am I?  This is my concern...  Mrs. Logan has or had enough funds coming to have a caretaker or caretakers to take care of her... This is what I would have done.  Let her stay in her home, until she is no more.  It her home, her money, her everything.  I just want to hug her away from all the havoc and away from all the abuse, I feel she's been though.  Thank you for your time Ms. Dokes.  I hope to hear from you soon.  As I sure do love Mrs. Ruby Logan....Because she showed me LOVE FIRST!

On January 17, 2014, I called Darlene's phone 708-547-4327..She answered... I asked to speak to Mrs. Logan..She said she was in bed, I'd call too late.... I said to her...I will call tomorrow....and I will call today.
