Terve!  Mitta kuuluu?  Kiitos hyvaa!

Sari here.  I just put Soren Nikolas, Baby #5, down for his nap.  He's been really fussy; he is teething and is miserable.  Poor little thing; my heart absolutely breaks for him!

Soren was born around 24 December, just before Christmas.  He has kept me very busy.  I just thank God that Birtta, Erik, and Ilsa are older, to where they can help their mama with the baby (and Fia, who is now a very active two year old!).  Birtta is in first grade; meanwhile, Erik has started kindergarten, and Fia is now in pre-school.  All are doing very, very well!  I am very proud of them all!  So is their daddy!  

Soren looks a lot like me.  Unlike the others, he has my coloring and my fair hair and light blue eyes.  He is very beautiful, but right now he is still fussing in his crib.  Nik is with him, trying to soothe him.  I just wish I knew what to do to keep his gums from hurting so badly!  If this doesn't stop, I will have to consult the pediatrician, to see what he can do to help him.  We've tried everything: massaging his gums, putting medicine on them, and letting him chew on his teething rings, but nothing seems to alleviate his ongoing pain.

The weather here in Finland is very cold (at least in our part, it is).  We've already had snow sevreral times; it promises to be a very long, dark, and very cold winter.  That is not going to help my fibromyalgia pain any.  I am not looking forward to it.  The northern lights have also been extremely active: they've been appearing in our night skies quite regularly recently, making for spectacular displays.

The lights also mess up with the phone and our Internet, so I haven't been online much lately because the connection has been iffy at best.  The light's activity has a lot to do with it, which is why I haven't been online as much as I would like (plus the children and Nik keep me on my toes!).

Well, I hate to go, but Fia just fell and she is now screaming; she must have hit her head.  I hope she's okay.  I will go now; take care and God bless! Until later, this is Sari saying Nakemiin!
