A man continues to deal with memories of being abducted by space aliens.

 Why doesn't anybody believe me??

I know what happened to me.  And everything I tell you (or have been telling you in the past) is the truth.  I swear  upon a stack of Bibles that it's the truth; I am not lying or making up things!

I still have nightmares.  Just about every night I am ripped from my sleep.  I have been seeing a counselor, but it really hasn't  made much of a difference.  Sometimes I wonder if I really am cracking up ...

I look in the mirror and see a stranger.  A stranger who resembles an old man: I look nothing like I used to prior to this abduction.

My hair is gun-metal gray and wrinkles have crisscrossed my face.  I look at least thirty years older: I look more like 80 than 50.  And my health has suffered: I have developed nervous tics and a tremor that never ceases to go away.  Any noise is enough to put me over the edge; I don't trust anything or anybody.

I don't even trust my family or even myself some days.

I don't know what is going to happen, but if I don't get any relief from the nightmare I endured, I just may go off the deep end, and I will NOT be responsible for what I may do to myself (or others)!

~To be continued!~
