It's been a while since I last put pen to paper, but having two children under the age of eight keeps me and my wife, Zoe, on our toes.  

Our daughter, Tessa Chalize, is now seven; she is in the second grade and is scoring high grades at her school.  She is extremely smart; we are very proud of her.  And get this: she is now WALKING!!  She is using a walker, but she is WALKING, something doctors didn't think she would do when she was first diagnosed with diplegic cerebral palsy when she was a year and a half.  It's been miraculous!

Her little brother, Braeden Chandler, is 13 months old and is into everything!  He keeps us running from the time we get up (usually before seven) until we put him down for the night (7:30 or 8).  He is just discovering the world around him and it's cute to watch him interact with people, animals, or his surroundings.  He is such a curious little guy!

We are going to add to the family: Zoe is pregnant yet again; this will be Child #3 for us.  She is four months along; we should find out next month what she is having.  Hopefully it will be another boy; but if it is a girl, that would be okay, too, as long as he or she is healthy.  That's really all that matters.

I am still busy, working, trying to pay off the past bills from when Tessa was in the hospital (plus her therapy and equipment costs).  It isn't easy, but we ARE making headway, so for that I am truly grateful.  Zoe, meanwhile, stays at home, where she cares for Tessa when she isn't in school or on the weekends (I help out, too).  Our life can be stressful at times, but we wouldn't trade any of it for all the gold in the world!

Well, Tessa just got home from school, so I am sure she will be chock full of information about her day.  She absolutely adoes school!  I will be back later; take care and God bless!
