Remember  Boomer, the little Pomeranian who had been cruelly abused and was left for dead?  Well, we just found out that he has been adopted into a loving home!

From a little dog who had been left to die, Boomer has blossomed into a loving, friendly little guy who has warmed up to most people (men still make him a little wary, but he is getting past that; it's an ongoing process).  He loves to play fetch and have his belly rubbed, and he loves to sleep by his new owner's side when she goes to bed at night.  He loves to run around and lie in the sunshine and watch the activities going on outside the front picture window.  

I never thought in a million years that Boomer would ever be adopted.  He had gone through so much and we worked tirelessly to save his life.  Now that this has happened, the change in him has been nothing short of miraculous!  

I just wish all animal stories had an ending like this one; sadly, so many don't.  I wish nothing but the best for Boomer and his family; this is truly something to be thankful for, especially now, since it IS so close to Thanksgiving!
