A man is pleased to learn that he will become a grandfather to triplets on Christmas.

 How wonderful is this?

I just found out that my daughter, Candra, is adding to the family; she and her husband, Carl, are adopting two boys from Georgia.  They should be here around Christmastime, which can only mean one thing: I am about to become a grandfather!!

I had always dreamed of having grandkids to spoil; now that my own kids are grown, I have missed the sound of little feet pattering around the house.  It sure gets lonesome without wiggly little bodies full of laughter, jokes, and energy.  My son, Cameron, is a career military man; he plans to retire from the Navy once he gets old enough.  Candra is a successful legal assistant but has been trying to add to the family, only to find out that she and Carl are infertile, which means that they can't have kids.  So they are turning to adoption, but adoption takes a long time.

Well, around Christmas, we found out about the adoptions, and just last week, they were approved, but they still have a way to go before the boys are finally in their care.  The names of their sons to be are Garfield and Griffin, and they are three and five.  Not little enough to be babies, per se, but big enough to know what's going on around them and to explore the world around them.

I can't haredly wait to meet my grandsons!  Just the very thought of my becoming a grandpa at last is enough to make me cry buckets of tears!!

Tears of joy, that is!

I am going to have to do some heavy duty thinking and plan on getting the boys some toys and games to keep them occupied!  Oh, this is going to be a most wonderful year!!  I can't wait to tell the family the news!!!!
