Greetings in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ!

This is your friend, Bwame' Ottumwa, writing.  I hope this finds you well.  As for me, I am sitting here in my house, trying to keep warm.  It is very cold and nasty outside; we got over six inches of snow yesterday and last week, a foot.  We are snowed in.  The roads are very treacherous; I may not have to work tomorrow because we could get some more snow later tonight; they're saying 1-3".

If that is the case, I can work on my income tax forms.  Hate doing it, but it's got to be done without fail.  

I am happy to report that I have graduated college and have my own practice.  I am a certified counsellor; my specialty is working with people who have survived trauma and with children who have special needs.  I love it; I have been working now for several months, and it brings me much in the way of satisfaction.  I am doing something I love, and people are learning to accept me for my own differences.  They are learning to feel comfortable around me, and I am teaching them about courage and perseverence.

It works both ways, as they say.

I usually am getting ready to go to church at this time, but since the weather is not good, church services have been cancelled for this week.  It's been a long, quiet, boring day.  All I've done is watch the Pro Bowl on television and then golf; now I'm writing in here, my journal.  

I am happy to say that I have a girlfriend.  Her name is Mbiki Mulelu; she is originally from Kenya.  I met her while in college, during my second year.  She is very sweet, not to mention, breathtakingly beautiful.  She can make even a homely person like me look good.  :)  She goes to my church and she and I have gotten very serious about our relationship; we are already talking about marriage within a year or so.  We hope to have children and have a long, happy, comfortable life.

Well, I hate to go, but I am getting hungry; plus the phone is ringing.  I will have to answer it.  Hopefully it's Mbiki or Roscoe, my longtime friend.  I am bored sitting here doing nothing all day!  Take care; may God bless you as much as He's blessed me!
