A boy continues to worry about his father, who is in need of a heart transplant, or else he could be dead within a year.

I wish I had more news about Pop, but I don't.  Things remain about the same.

So far, nobody has come forward in volunteering on donating a heart for my old man.  Pop continues to get weaker and sicker; he's now on oxygen 24 hours a day and about the only place he goes to is to the doctor's (or to the hospital) for one thing or another.

This isn't the life he wanted.  This isn't the life we wanted either, especially since before all this happened, Pops was an active, happy man who exercised daily and did things with us, his wife and kids.  Now he sits in his recliner, wondering if anybody even cares; he has become a shell of his former self and is often times depressed or anxious.

I don't blame him one bit for being that way.

We have put a cry for help online, in the hopes that someone will write or at least call, but again, so far, nothing.  We are all becoming greatly discouraged because each day that goes by, that means one day closer to my old man dying from a diseased heart.

Please pray for a mieacle for our family; we could really use one!  It hurts me (all of us, really) to see Pop being like this!!  This isn't the life we wanted!

~To be continued!~

Sorry I've not been reviewing, Karen. You just write too much, too fast! Not to say that what you write isn't good: it is. I just can't keep up! This one is very well penned, but so sad. :(

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
