102 Million Americans Out of Work?

What does this mean? It will mean that six million of these folks have been out of work for at least six months and will likely never work again and have given up, all this while the goverment tells us things are getting better, while the richest zip codes in the United States are right around Washington, while most hunker down in fear of losing their income or their jobs, while many work for 12 dollars an hour, while our young will have to leave the country to find jobs, while, only a small minority of us can afford college without crippling debt and the government goes on wild, crazy austerity rants, telling us we have to cut back, while 2/3 our our taxes actually go to the military-industrial complex and to enrich the rich even more.
It means that people do not have the money to buy things which keep this economy going. Seventy % of our economy is consumer driven. This means more layoffs, fewer jobs, fewer people going to school, less money to buy homes, to pay bills, more debt and a permanently indentured lower class and a super rich class, and likely rebellion in the streets, because this wall street captured government will not raise taxes on the rich to right things.
It means a downward spiral like in 1929 is 85% for sure coming, as Obama pivots toward Asia fomenting a threat of war with China, Russia or both, or at least an arms race with China which will be a naval and drone war, which will make the arms dealers in the United States rich; or perhaps they will be successful fomenting an internal war to put down domestic terriorsts or to turn the races against one another, declare marshall law or may put people to work in the war industries. Perhaps it will mean, and already does mean, the end of the middle class which is so slow to react to what is going on, and apparently feel powerless to do anything about anything. Perhaps it will spark an outcry against the bank gangsters who took our savings, our homes and our jobs. Perhaps it will spark a movement to get rid of Central banks and to substitute the US Treasury instead, wresting control of our money from the Chase Banks of the world.
Perhaps, perhaps.

"Births are falling in China, Japan, the United States, Germany, Italy and nearly all other European countries. Studies have shown that births drop when unemployment rises, such as during the Great Depression of the 1930s. Birth rates have fallen the most in some regions that were hardest hit by the financial crisis.
In the United States, three-quarters of people surveyed by Gallup last year said the main reason couples weren't having more children was a lack of money or fear of the economy.
The trend emerges as a key gauge of future economic health -- the growth in the pool of potential workers, ages 20-64 -- is signaling trouble ahead. This labor pool had expanded for decades, thanks to the vast generation of baby boomers. Now the boomers are retiring, and there are barely enough new workers to replace them, let alone add to their numbers."

Millennials Not Getting Married? What does it mean?
"Yet one thing appears to be true : Millennials aren’t getting married right now. A recent report by the Urban Institute suggests that the current crop of young people is headed for the lowest rates of marriage by age 40 of any generation ever recorded. The study suggests that over 30 percent of Millennial women will still be single at age 40. That’s almost double the rate for Gen X."

What does it mean? Here are few points.
1. With a whole generation not getting married and forming households and having kids means that economic decline for the US is assured. The consumer economy is heavily impacted, the birth rate drops even more than it has, the backlash against immigrants grows ( they replace the childless Milliennial kids in the work force.
2. Single person households double which means more demands on energy, housing, or multi-roommate housing, or people leaving the country to find jobs elsewhere because surely there will be fewer jobs because there will be less demand so companies lay off, or flee to China-and a downward spiral occurs.
3. Racial issues. Minorities have more kids so America is and will see an acceleration of the influx of a diverse nation of immigrants.Whites will surely become a minority and fearful will strike back to keep their postions in society and in the economy.
4. Less jobs for Milliennals means more social unrest because fewer jobs means fewer jobs for Milliennals as well.
5. The tax base in cities will shrink. Few household formations, few tax payers and some cities will go the way of Detroit.
6. We are heading for a society of the plutocracy, the few rich dominating the culture and the vast majority of the poor and the lower middle class fighting over the few and shrinking resources left.
What can be done?
There is always something which can be done. That later.

"There are two possibilities. One is to raise taxes on the rich and distribute the revenue using some kind of means test. The other is to pay equal dividends to all from wealth we own together. The first approach is a form of income redistribution; it takes from those who’ve already received and gives to those who haven’t. The second is a form of predistribution; it allocates income more fairly in the first place so there’s less need to redistribute later. Here’s how the latter approach could work and why it would be preferable.
Dividends could come from a nationwide fund similar to the Alaska Permanent Fund, which, since 1982, has used the state’s oil wealth to pay equal yearly dividends to all Alaskans. Revenue for a national fund could come from a variety of shared assets, starting with our atmosphere, that are currently given away for free. Over time, according to my calculations, such dividends could grow to about $5,000 per person per year. As in Alaska, they wouldn’t be welfare but legitimate property income."
