"The problem" she said:

"is that you men have only six states of mind:
Hungry, Horny, Money, Power and Sports oh, and Food.

That is thin gruel for us women.

Is it asking too much to remember my birthday, our anniversary, my favorite color or flower; to refrain from temper tantutums, from this "strict dad" routine, or its opposite; "have to work dear to take care of things; you handle everything else."

"Humm," he said
"Most of what you say I'm afraid is true for many men, sadly so. But here is the male case. You women expect us to remember too much and to be too romantic, its like you want us to be romantic so you will have stories to tell your girl friends, or around the water cooler.

Shall we feed the "I am loved" monkey again today? Valentine Day, Holidays, Birthdays, Anniversaries, "The Day We Met Day, "Our First Date Day" Our wedding day, our HoneyMoon Day, Our HoneyMoon Night. 

It feels overwhelming to us- can't remember it all and if we don't we end up sleeping on the couch or getting those dagger eyes and silences.

"And the reverse too often does not happen us meaning what do we get out of this? We get headaches, complaints, bad sex, critiques, and come last on the list of things that matter to you. Friends, kids, house and shopping, your family and we men are dead last on that list."

She said:
"You never listen to me and seem not interested in how my day went, but want me to understand, no, read your mind on how your day went."

He said: "I am tired after work."

She said; "I work too and work more when I get home. I never get a day off."

They both looked at each other.

He said, "Ok I see your point."

She said "Ok, I see your point too."

He said, "And that is why I love you."

She said: "Does that come with a kiss?"
