Testing ... testing ... man, can you even HEAR me??

*Giggles*

Alaska Dawn Morgan speaking.  Sorry I haven't been doing my journal; thing been crazy, what with me being in the hospital TWICE since February.  First time, got pneumonia.  Earlier this month, had a bad spell of difficulty breathing.  Turns out I have asthma.  NICE ... NOT!!!!

Mom's working oodles of hours, trying to keep up with the bills, thanks to ME.

Happy to report that I am finally doing better, thanks to medication.  More pills! *BLECH!*  It sure put a crimp in my schooling and homework; have had to make up a lot of what I missed out on while I was sick.

Pattye was wondering if I had left the planet or if I was trying to avoid her.  Mom filled her in, so I am excused.

What set my asthma off?  Puppy.  My kitty.  I am totally heartbroken.  We had to give her away.  Rosemarie Munoz is now Puppy's mom.  I really, really, REALLY miss her!!!! :(

Some good news, though: Bindu Singh asked Mom to marry him last week.  Mom said "yes", so it looks like I'm gonna have a new dad!  Now, it won't be the same as having my own Daddy, but that's okay.  I really like Bindu.  He treats Mom good, and always includes me in his plans (well, unless they're on a date or something like that).  *Giggles*  They're planning a fall wedding.

Next month, a HUGE dream of mind is gonna come true : Mom, Bindu, and I are going to see CARRIE UNDERWOOD in concert!!!!  Carrie Underwood has been my fave since she was on "American Idol" several years back.  Ever since, I've been hooked on her music.  I have all but her newest CD (the one with "Blown Away" on it), and I know all of her songs by heart.  She is going to be at the Grand Ole Opry.  I cannot WAIT!!!!!!  This is gonna be so *beeping* COOL!!!!!!!

We got tickets; I found out about it the other day, and I am, like, totally STOKED!!!!!!

I am glad spring is here.  To look out, though, you'd be hard pressed to see it.  We till have a bit of SNOW on the ground (got some on March 25, three days ago), and it is still cold out.  *BLECH!*  And tonight into tomorrow, we could have severe storms.  WHEE! *NOT!!*  I HATE storms!!

Mom is over the moon, what with Bindu's preposal.  I don't think her feet have touched the ground yet!  *Giggle*

I am doing better with my depression.  Helps that I'm being homeschooled and no longer have to face the bullies.

I desperately want to go online, but Mom and Bindu don't think that it's a good idea, since anyone can hide behind a computer screen and say they're one person or can treat you nice or not.  Why do people have to lie nd be so mean??  *Sigh!*  I sometimes feel so isolated.  It bugs me that I don't have that many friends.

We finally found a church, First Baptist on Demonbreun (think that's how it's spelled!).  NICE.  A church on Demon Brawn Street.  LOL  It's kind of a big church, but it's not nearly as big as Rosemarie Munoz's church, Christ Community Assembly of God.  That place is downright HUGE!  Like 10,000 people (SEEMS that way; it's GINORMOUS!!).  I think there's maybe around 1,000 at my church.

Whoops, phone ringing.  Gotta go.  Talk soon.  'Bye!
